And therein lies one of the many reasons you should consider saving in foreign currencies, because doing so preserves the value and worth of your money.

If you seriously want to protect your money from devaluation or inflation, then save in foreign currencies.

A few days ago, CBN froze the accounts of Risevest, Trove, Chaka, and other FinTech platforms where people keep their funds in dollars. I bet you don't want this to happen to you.

Even If you own a domiciliary account, don't think your money is safe because at this rate of CBN policymaking, you need to ask yourself whether the dollars you have in your domiciliary bank account is really safe from CBN's big stick? Or could they come up with another policy tomorrow that could negatively impact your funds?
