MUSIC VIDEO OF THE WEEK 8: Na Your way - Nosa ft. Mario Ese

It is possible to find yourself at a place in life where you question the ability or willingness of God to do things for you.

Last week, on Valentine's Day, a friend of mine, Ify Az shared a very touching story on her Facebook page about a 24 year old female cancer patient at the hospital where she works in London. We shall call her Mary (not real name). According to Ify, Mary has just a few months to live. "She sobbed and asked, 'What can I do to live?'", said Ify.

She and another colleague of hers' were visiting with Mary at her ward, and she narrates the encounter thus: "I was 22 when I was diagnosed, and at 24, I will die. I have been suffering from this illness. This is supposed to be the peak of my life, and I am moving from chemo to chemo. The pains, the stress, the helplessness that I feel are killing me more than the illness", said Mary.

And my colleague responded, "talk to God about it".

Mary held onto my colleague and muttered, "I have, but He doesn't listen".
At that point, I couldn't hold the tears anymore, I left at once.

Personally, I was so touched by Mary's story. So, I spoke privately with my friend Ify further about Mary, and she said, "I have seen many cancer patients but this one broke me to pieces. Sometimes we take this sound health for granted".

"She (Mary) had a double mastectomy when she was 22. They thought they had arrested the cancer. Then it came back aggressively and by the time they knew it, it had spread so much that it can't be contained. So you can imagine how this young girl has suffered."

Mary's story is very touching to say the least. It is a stark reminder to us of the difficult struggles that many cancer patients like Mary are facing every day in various hospitals around the world.

Like Mary, many have lost hope already, and feel that God is deaf to their prayers. For some, even their caregivers, relatives and friends have also lost hope and are simply marking the time now.

But, this week, in the song titled "Na Your way", Nosa reminds us that it is still the way of God to heal the sick.
Nosa Omoregie, is a 38-year-old Nigerian recording artist, singer, songwriter and performer. He mainly sings contemporary gospel worship music.

This week's music video is dedicated to Mary (and other cancer patients around the world). We worship the God whose way is still to heal them and give them a second chance at life. Please #prayforMary.

If you're also doubting the ability and willingness of God to deliver for you too, or you feel that God doesn't listen to you, then this song is also dedicated to you. I pray that you find comfort and faith in the words of this powerful song of faith.
