BREAKING: US Senate has voted not to impeach President Donald Trump. Acquits him of impeachment charges

The United States Senate has voted 52-48 to acquit President Donald John Trump of the charge of Abuse of Power, and also voted 53-47 to acquit him of the 'Obstruction of Congress' charge in the impeachment process launched and Spearheaded against him entirely by Democrat members of the House of Representatives.

UTAH Republican Senator Mitt Romney was the only Republican vote for impeachment on the Abuse of Power charge only. Not a single Republican Congressman voted for any of the impeachment charges in the House.

This brings to an end an impeachment process that has been heavily criticized as grossly partisan, lacking in substance, and riddled with multiple abuses of processes and precedents by the Democrat-led US House of Representatives under the leadership of Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

In response to his acquittal vote by the senate, Trump tweeted a video Captioned "Trump 4eva".

For the first time in US history, an impeached president is acquitted, and stands for re-election in the same year.

The United States will hold her general elections on November 03, 2020. Right now, Trump remains by far the strong frontrunner for the office of President, and therefore the candidate to beat, especially considering that his large base has been fired up by the issue of impeachment.
