The just concluded national convention of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria was indeed a spectacular one for members of the ministry, as well as the church in Nigeria at large. The convention commenced on the 11th of November at the Ajebo camp international headquarters of the church, and was concluded in the 17th of November.
Captioned "From Glory to Glory" (2Cor. 3:18), participants witnessed a change in the mantle of leadership at the Church as the General Overseer and members of the Board of Directors of the church all handed over to new ones in a very special ceremony called an "Installation" which held on Sunday, 17th of November.

This event is special in the Nigerian Church as it is not everyday that we get to see church leadership succession in a major Christian organization which was not necessitated by a vaccum created due to circumstances such as death or other.
In his acceptance speech, Rev. Sam Aboyeji said, "Today is historic and important to me. It is with great humility I accept this responsibility in Jesus name. And by the grace of God, we shall succeed".

We wish Rev. Samuel and Rev. (Mrs.) Olabisi Aboyeji, and the new board members a successful term in office. May the Foursquare message ring: Jesus the only Savior, Baptizer and Healer; Jesus the coming King!
This is a sign of good leadership. I hope it serves as an example to other churches worldwide but NO, they won’t accept it
