POLICE INVITE AND QUIZ PASTOR FATOYINBO FOR OVER 10 HOURS

Embattled Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) was quizzed by the Nigeria Police Force for over 10 hours yesterday at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Headquarters in Abuja.

Fatoyinbo arrived the police facility in the morning and was questioned over rape allegations leveled against him by popular photographer Mrs. Busola Dakolo according to reports by Daily Trust.

Police spokesman, DCP Frank Mba, confirmed the quiz and said that the pastor would be granted bail if he met the conditions. He also said that criminal charges may be filed depending on the findings arrived at when the investigation is concluded. According to him, the police also invited and questioned other pastors who have tried in the past to broker peace between Fatoyinbo and Dakolo.

Recall that Busola Dakolo, in an emotional interview which aired last June, publicly accused Pastor Fatoyinbo of having raped her about 20 years ago when she was a teenager at her family's residence.
